Introduction to High Mast LED Flood Lighting Pole

I. Introduction

The high mast lighting pole device is mainly composed of the lamp head, the internal lamp electrical, the pole body and the basic part.

1. Lamp head: generally known as lamp ring, its shape can be determined according to user requirements, surrounding environment, and lighting needs. As the name shows, its style is generally look like a ring, or crown.

2. Internal lamps and lanterns electrical:  the light source usually adopts LED flood light, the lighting radius can reach 60 meters acoording to the environment request.

3. Mast body: generally, a polygonal tapered or conical structure, rolled with steel plates, with a height of 15-40 meters, mostly composed of two to three sections.

4. Foundation part: used to support and fix the entire high pole lamp structure, general atmosphere steel flange structure and concrete base, or a combination of the two.

Ⅱ. LED flood lighting: Good lighting effect

In most occasions, LED flood lamp is adopted, the LED flood lighting advantage as below:

1. Long life: Since the flood light without electrodes, it shine by combining the electromagnetic induction principle with the fluorescent discharge principle, no components that limit lifespan. The service life is only determined by the quality level of electronic components, circuit design and the manufacturing process of the bulb.

2. Energy saving: Compared with incandescent lamps, LED flood light saves energy by about 75%. The luminous flux of an 85W floodlight is roughly equivalent to that of a 500W incandescent lamp.

3. Environmental protection: The LED flood lamp uses solid mercury, which will not pollute the environment even if it is broken. It has high recyclable rate as green light source.

4. No strobe: The LED flood light high working frenquency to attain strobe free effect, can help to protect eye health.

5. Good color rendering: The color rendering index usually is greater than 80 and the light color is soft, easy to show the envrionment natural effect.

6. Optional color temperature: wide option from 2700K to 6500K, customer can choose the kinds according to environment request, can also be made into colored bulbs for garden decorative lighting.

7. High proportion of visible light: the proportion of visible light is more than 80% can keep good visual effect.

8. In-time turning on: It can be started and restarted immediately, and multiple switches hardly optical degradation problems.

9. Excellent electrical performance: high power factor, low current harmonics, constant voltage power supply, and constant luminous flux output.

Ⅲ. High Mast Advantage

2. Strong stability: The light pole is made of high-strength high-quality steel plate, and the maximum wind resistance is designed to reach 60 m/s.

3. Liftable design: The lifting high pole lamp is equipped with an electric lifting system, which is convenient for maintenance and replacement of lamps.

4. Lightning protection system: lightning rods are installed on the top of the lamp, and grounding wires are installed on the underground foundation to ensure the safety of use.

High-pole lights are generally divided into lifting and non-lifting. The height of the main pole of the lifting high pole lamp is generally more than 18 meters, and there are two lifting control modes, manual and electric, which are convenient for maintenance.

V. Application scenarios

The main use scenarios of high-pole lighting are outdoor, and the common applications are:

City square lighting;

Stadium lighting: open-air gymnasium, football field, golf course, outdoor tennis court, badminton court, etc.;

Arena lighting such as horse arena lighting;

Dock lighting;

Mining area and construction site;

Station and station square lighting;

Lighting of highways and highway service areas;

Large-scale freight yard lighting;

Urban overpass lighting;

Outdoor parking lot lighting;

The price of high-pole lamps varies depending on the specifications, materials, brands and other factors, generally ranging from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. The specific price needs to be determined according to the actual demand and application conditions.

Ⅶ. Precautions for use

1. Make sure that the foundation of the light pole is stable to withstand the weight of the entire high pole light and external forces such as wind force.

2. Regularly inspect and maintain the high mast light equipment to ensure its normal operation and safe use.

3. Pay attention to electrical safety to avoid accidents such as electric shock.

4. Switch on and off the lights according to the actual needs and regulations to avoid wasting energy and affecting the environment.

Overall, high-pole lighting fixtures are an important part of urban night lighting, and their correct installation and use not only improve the lighting effect, but also extend the service life, ensure safety and energy saving.
